Okay. There is a decided benefit to by no means throwing something away.
In fact, you need to be able to find what you have stashed!
This afternoon I simply hair tangled after washing had to make a few bendy dolls. A number of years ago I made dozens of those little dolls from Salley Mavor’s Felt Wee Folks e book. Instead of using embroidery floss, I remembered I had a stash of Persian model crewel yarn in a gazillion different colors. This nearly got tossed when cleansing up my workroom a couple of weeks in the past, however I just couldn’t trash all those lovely skeins, though I had no thought what I would use them for.
Effectively, they work Nice for wrapping the pipecleaners, and making the hair 🙂
These little dolls are 2 1/2 inches tall, and require only one 12 inch pipecleaner to make them. The doll on the left has a 20mm diameter head, and the one on the best a 16mm diameter head. They’ve acorn caps that I’ve had for over 10 years, simply ready to be used again 🙂
Rose among the Hellebores
As a substitute of dressing them in felt, I need to crochet some take away-ready outfits for them, which is a departure from the ebook. And I believe they look candy faceless; what do you suppose
